Built for this town, not downloaded for it
Motihari is the district headquarters of East Champaran — the ground where the Champaran Satyagraha began in 1917. It is a town of family shops, coaching centres near the station, and businesses built on people knowing each other. A website that works here has to survive a bright afternoon, one bar of 4G and a ₹7,000 phone — and it has to be found by someone typing half a sentence in Hindi.
People here search in Hinglish
Nobody types "saree retailer East Champaran". They type "saree shop motihari" or half a sentence in Hindi. A site built for how people here actually type — and a Google Business profile that matches it — gets found. One written for a Delhi agency brief does not.
Devanagari that renders, not boxes
Half the local sites I am asked to fix show empty boxes where the Hindi should be, because nobody loaded a Devanagari font. Hindi also needs more line height than English and breaks when squeezed — the matras collide with the line above. I self-host the font so it renders on any phone, offline or not.
WhatsApp is the shop counter
Nobody here fills a long enquiry form. They forward your poster to a family group and then message you. So every design I make is built to be forwarded — readable as a WhatsApp thumbnail, with the phone number legible before anyone zooms in.

How much does a website cost in Motihari?

I already have an Instagram page. Do I still need a website?
Instagram is rented ground — you cannot control who sees your posts, and nobody searching Google finds you there. A website is the one place customers can reach you on your terms, and it is what shows up when someone searches for your trade in your town.
What if I do not like the design?
